Watch: Tee Higgins got away with blatant facemask on big TD

The Cincinnati Bengals caught a huge break on their go-ahead touchdown early in the second half of Super Bowl LVI.

Joe Burrow and Tee Higgins connected for a 75-yard touchdown on the first play of the second half to take a 17-13 lead over the Los Angeles Rams. Jalen Ramsey was in coverage, and he was furious with the officiating crew after the play. You can understand why.

Higgins grabbed and twisted Ramsey’s facemask while the receiver was fighting back toward the ball. It was clear a flag should have been thrown.

The officials missed it, and facemask penalties are not reviewable. Cincinnati should have been penalized half the distance to the goal rather than starting off the third quarter with a huge play.
